The process... and the year 2010

We've been spending a huge amount of time in studio over the last year or so. Initially, in Platinum Studios in Salt Lake... and more recently with the amazing Rockfish Record Company team... The recent mini release of our 7 song EP has gotten some good reviews and we're happy with it. However, we've decided to limit the scope to which we push this EP...

For those of you who were unaware – The Wayne Hoskins Band was approached earlier this year by Rockfish Record Company, and have teamed up to record, produce, and market a full length album project; which we are hoping to have done by the end of 2010.

So far, we’ve finished 90% of three songs, and they are unlike anything The Wayne has done. The genius and chemistry that has been established between The Wayne and this production team is magical.

We are working on photo shoots, the album, artwork, gigs/touring, and music videos. We are all extremely excited about the prospects – ESPECIALLY, the music… which we are sure you all will enjoy.

I am hoping to keep up on the blog here and keep all of you up to date on this process… I know that there are a lot of you that are curious about how an album is recorded.

What a weird thing to search for Dustin on Facebook and find out you've become a rockstar. Your music sounds great. Hope your family is doing well. Wish I knew you had talent while I lived out there!
